Tune-ups and maintenance plan in Aurora and nearby towns
A furnace check in the fall and an AC check in the spring, each about an hour. $129 for one visit, or $219 a year for both on the plan.
$129 a visit, or $219 a year for two
What a furnace tune-up includes
- Clean the flame sensor and check the igniter
- Measure gas pressure and temperature rise
- Inspect the heat exchanger with a camera and test for carbon monoxide
- Check the inducer, blower motor and belt or bearings
- Clear the condensate drain and check the flue
- Replace a standard 1-inch filter (we bring the common sizes)
What an AC tune-up includes
- Rinse the outdoor coil and straighten bent fins
- Check refrigerant pressures and superheat
- Test the capacitor and contactor
- Flush the condensate line and check the pan
- Measure the temperature drop across the indoor coil

The $219 plan covers both visits, waives the $89 diagnostic on any repair call, takes 10% off repairs, and puts you first on the schedule for no-heat and no-AC calls. We call in September and March to book.
Other work we do
-
Furnace repair
$89 diagnostic, credited to the repair
No heat, short cycling, a furnace that blows cold air or trips the breaker. Calls are answered around the clock from October to April.
-
AC repair
$89 diagnostic, credited to the repair
Warm air from the vents, ice on the copper lines, water by the furnace. Trucks carry capacitors, contactors and fan motors, so most repairs finish on the first visit.
-
Furnace replacement
Typically $4,800 to $7,500 installed
High-efficiency gas furnaces sized to a heat-loss calculation of your house. Most installs take one day.

“Furnace quit around 9pm on a Sunday in January with the temperature at 4 degrees. I called at 9:15, the on-call tech phoned back about ten minutes later and was in our driveway by 10:30. It was the igniter. He had one on the truck, showed me the cracked one, and the heat was running by 11. The $95 after-hours charge was on the paper before he started. Not cheap for a Sunday night, but no surprises.”

“Our upstairs ran 6 degrees warmer than the first floor every July. Two other companies quoted a bigger AC. Comfort Pro measured the ductwork, added two dampers and a second thermostat, and the bedrooms now stay within a degree of downstairs.”

“Spring tune-up found a weak capacitor on our 2009 condenser. He swapped it during the visit for $165 and we had AC through the June heat wave. Shoe covers on, and he wiped down the furnace closet before leaving.”
