Home: Comfort Pro Heating & Cooling

A heating and cooling shop on Aurora's east side since 2008

Demo copy Comfort Pro started in 2008 with one van and a two-car garage off Galena Boulevard. The first winter was mostly no-heat calls in the older houses near downtown, and that is still a big part of the work.

Today the shop is a small building with a parts room, a training bench and a lot for the trucks. We do furnace and AC repair, replacements, tune-ups and humidifiers for houses in Aurora, Naperville, Plainfield, Oswego, Sugar Grove and Yorkville. We do not take commercial work, which keeps the trucks free for homes on cold nights.

Every repair starts with an $89 diagnostic and a written price. Technicians are paid by the hour, with no commission on parts or new equipment, so a $165 capacitor is a perfectly good outcome for everyone.

Replace this story with the owner's own before launch: when they started, where, and what kind of work fills the schedule.

“Furnace quit around 9pm on a Sunday in January with the temperature at 4 degrees. I called at 9:15, the on-call tech phoned back about ten minutes later and was in our driveway by 10:30. It was the igniter. He had one on the truck, showed me the cracked one, and the heat was running by 11. The $95 after-hours charge was on the paper before he started. Not cheap for a Sunday night, but no surprises.”

  • “Our upstairs ran 6 degrees warmer than the first floor every July. Two other companies quoted a bigger AC. Comfort Pro measured the ductwork, added two dampers and a second thermostat, and the bedrooms now stay within a degree of downstairs.”

  • “Spring tune-up found a weak capacitor on our 2009 condenser. He swapped it during the visit for $165 and we had AC through the June heat wave. Shoe covers on, and he wiped down the furnace closet before leaving.”
